Graduate students Camille Hanes and Kelley Withers received Honorable Mention recognition from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP).

“The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees in fields within NSF’s mission.” This recognition from NSF demonstrates Hanes' and Withers’ excellence as researchers and great potential.

Hanes is a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Neuroscience and is a member of the Weiner Lab in the Department of Biology.

Withers is a PhD student in the Integrated Biology (iBio) Graduate Program and is a member of the Cheng Lab in the Department of Biology.
