The University of Iowa Department of Biology Outreach Program, “Hawkeyes at the Microscope,” was at the Cedar Rapids STEM Festival on Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2016 at the Cedar Rapids Public Library. The goal of the Hawkeyes at the Microscope traveling exhibit, “Model Organisms: Powerful Tools to Study Biology,” is to educate individuals on the importance of using model organisms for research.
