Iowa City Darwin Day celebrates its tenth anniversary March 3–4, 2017 with a host of world-renowned scientists who will share their research in a series of professional seminars and talks that are free and open to the public. For more information, please visit www.iowacitydarwinday.org

The events kick off with a poster session and reception at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 3 in the Biology Building East lobby.

Anne Fausto-Sterling

Richard Wrangham 

  • March 3 at 3:45 p.m. in Kollros Auditorium, Biology Building East

Mary Kosloski

Iowa City Darwin Day was founded in 2007 to recognize and show our appreciation for the enormous benefits that scientific knowledge, acquired through human curiosity and ingenuity, has contributed to the advancement of humanity by organizing educational and social activities in and around Iowa City, Iowa, annually on or about the anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth, Feb. 12.
