The UI Department of Biology "Hawkeyes at the Microscope" traveling exhibit participated in the Penn Elementary Science Night (North Liberty, Iowa) on Friday, March 3, 2017. The traveling exhibit features a microscope with a camera connected to a monitor capable of viewing various model organisms, and junior microscopes suitable for children to view slides of insects and spiders, as well as other activities for kids to learn about science in a fun and creative way.
