Biology professor is a Finalist for 10th Annual Iowa Women of Innovation Awards
Maurine Neiman, Associate Professor of Biology, is a finalist in the "Diversity Champion" category of the 10th Annual Iowa Women of Innovation Awards. The awards recognize and celebrate women in business, government and academia who are leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Congratulations Dr. Neiman!
Award winners will be announced during the Iowa Women of Innovation Awards presented by Workiva held at the Meadows Event Center at Prairie Meadows on Monday, November 13. Finalists from communities across the state represent a range of backgrounds: teachers, technologists, researchers, executives, entrepreneurs, government officials, and innovative companies. Finalists were selected based on their professional experience, history of innovation, ability to think creatively and solve problems, and demonstration of leadership.
