The University of Iowa Department of Biology will be at the Iowa State Fair on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 11:00am - 1:00pm in the Varied Industries Building at the University of Iowa booth. Sunday, August 20 is the last day of the fair and is also STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair. We also will have a table in the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council tent on the Grand Concourse during the same time (11:00am – 1:00pm), which we will have represented by a group of UI undergraduate students working on a project this summer to enter the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition in November 2017.
