Congratulations to Dr. Deborah Wessels for receiving the 2022 Susan C. Buckley Distinguished Achievement Award for Staff! Dr. Wessels retired in January 2022 as an Associate Research Scientist from the Soll Lab in the Department of Biology where she worked for 36 years. Dr. Wessels made several notable discoveries on cell motility in cancers and other diseases and helped develop state-of-the-art analyses for live video miscroscopy. She was nominated by her colleague, Dr. Daniel Lusche, Associate Research Scientist for the Developmental Studies Hybridoma Bank in the Department of Biology. A virtual award ceremony was held on April 6, 2022.
