Eli Gregory, an undergraduate alumnus (B.S. Human Physiology, 2024) who previously worked in the Eberl Lab in the Department of Biology, was first author on a paper published in eNeuro. The paper on how fruit flies tune in to courtship songs was recently featured in the Yale Scientific Magazine, the nation's oldest college scientific publication and the premier science publication at Yale. Gregory is now a 2nd-year medical student in the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa.
