Krishna Madhav Nukala, an iBio (Integrated Biology) PhD student in the Department of Biology, was chosen to give a talk at “TAGC (The Allied Genetics Conference) 2020 Online” – a premier genetics conference organized by the Genetics Society of America. Krishna’s talk titled, “Downregulation of innate immunity suppresses seizures in prickle mutants,” will take place at 11:00am CST as part of the “Models of Neurological Diseases” session on Friday, April 24, 2020.

The in-person version of this conference was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic; thus, creating a virtual conference, TAGC Online. There is no cost to attend or present at TAGC Online; however, all attendees must register in advance.

Krishna is a member of Dr. John Manak’s lab in the Department of Biology. Congratulations Krishna!
