Congratulations to Sepand Bafti and Muhammad Taifur Rahman for their successful thesis defenses!

Sepand, a PhD student in the iBio (Integrated Biology) Graduate Program in the Department of Biology, had his thesis defense on Monday, April 27, 2020. The title of his thesis was "Regeneration of Synapses After Noise-Induced Cochlear Synaptopathy."

Muhammad, a PhD student in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Human Toxicology, defended his thesis on Wednesday, April 29, 2020. The title of his thesis was "Role of adaptive immune system in spiral ganglion neuron degeneration after deafening."

Both students were mentored by Dr. Steven Green in the Department of Biology.
