Ben Gansemer received the "Best Trainee Presentation Award" for his recent talk at the Molecular Biology of Hearing and Deafness Conference held in Iowa City on May 24 - May 27, 2022.

The title of his talk was "Neurodegeneration in the Cochlea After Hair Cell Loss is Due to an Immune Response." Dr. Gansemer received his PhD in Integrated Biology in 2021 and was mentored by Dr. Steven Green.
