The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) at the University of Iowa has announced a $500,000 Interdisciplinary Scholars award to a project team to begin work on a new project at the intersection of climate, the environment, and health. The project team consists of researchers from the Department of Biology, the College of Public Health, and the Carver College of Medicine. On the team from the Department of Biology is Lori Adams, Associate Professor of Instruction, Josep Comeron, Professor of Biology, and Veena Prahlad, Associate Professor of Biology.
