The Department of Biology's first seminar of the semester will be held on Friday, August 28 at 3:30pm, featuring Tavis Anderson, Ph.D., a Research Biologist with the National Animal Disease Center, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)-Agricultural Research Service (ARS), in Ames, Iowa.

The seminar will be held in Kollros Auditorium (Room 101), Biology Building East (BBE). Jamie Alfieri, Ph.D., is the faculty host.

A reception with refreshments will be held in the BBE Lobby following the seminar.
