Congratulations to Kelley Withers (Cheng Lab) for receiving a Post-Comprehensive Research Fellowship from the Graduate College at The University of Iowa for the Spring 2021 semester! Kelley is a PhD student in the iBio (Integrated Biology) Graduate Program in the Department of Biology at the University of Iowa.

The Post-Comprehensive Research Fellowship "provides an opportunity for advanced PhD students to benefit from protected and supported time to pursue their scholarly research activities. The fellowship is intended to recognize students with distinguished academic achievement during their early graduate training. These achievements should be evident from a combination of outstanding academic performance in coursework and early scholarly research activities. The fellowship provides recipients with a stipend, tuition scholarship for two credit hours, 50 percent of the mandatory fees, and a contribution towards the recipients' health and dental insurance."
