Laura Evans, a Department of Biology alumna (B.S. in Neuroscience, Spring 2022), was in South Korea in 2024 working as an English Teaching Assistant after receiving the prestigious Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Award for 2023-2024. She helped elementary school students improve their English while engaging with her local community to promote cross-cultural exchange. Laura has renewed her Fulbright Award for another year and will spend 2025 in South Korea.
