With the conclusion of the Spring 2026 semester, we’d like to recognize the staff and faculty who were identified by graduating seniors in the Class of 2026 for making a positive difference in their lives during their time at the University of Iowa. From the Department of Biology, over 25 faculty/staff were recognized, including two who were recognized by five or more students. Faculty and staff were identified through the UI Senior Exit Survey, which all undergraduates are invited to complete when they apply to graduate.
