Anna Gaw was promoted to Associate Director, Student Support and Transitions, with the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) Academic Advising, effective May 1, 2026. Anna was most recently an Assistant Director with CLAS Academic Advising and previously served as a Senior Academic Advisor in the Department of Biology where she advised Biology, Biomedical Sciences, and Neuroscience students. In this new role, Anna will continue to advise and support students along with additional supervision and administrative responsibilities to the college. She joined the Department of Biology in March 2015 and has been a professional academic advisor for over 25 years. She received a Master of Science in Education from Kansas State University and a Master of Liberal Arts from Spring Hill College. Anna was recognized for this promotion and her service to the Department of Biology at the Biology Awards Ceremony held on May 7, 2026.
